TWC Conservation Archive image additions August 2018
The “conservation archive” has image updates for the month of August.
The updates for August 2018 introduce a host of new images taken by the Thailand Wildlife Collective’s photographers. The new images are taken in the current rainy season and you will see style and species content changes as the full force of the rainy season takes affect and photographable species change in tandem with the seasonal change. The new additions for the month of August include:
- Aug 3 – Addition of new reptile and amphibian images from Ton Smits, including the Malayan Krait, Stripe-tailed Cave Racer (Elaphe tae..eyi), Hose’s Frog, Robinson’s Stream Skink, and Mangrove Pit Viper taken at various locations in southern Thailand
- Aug 7 – Addition of Indochinese leopard, pallas’s squirrel, Northern treeshrew, Hog badger (Arctonyx collaris) and civet images from Kaeng Krachan National Park by Paul Thompson and Ian Edwardes.
- Aug 15 – Addition of many new reptile and amphibian images from Ton Smits, including the Kanburi Pit Viper, Gumprecht’s Pit Viper, Common Mock Viper, Pope’s Pit Viper, Red-Webbed Tree Frog (Rhacophorus rh..pus) and Ulber’s bent-toed gecko (Cyrtodactyl..lis) taken at various locations in central and northern Thailand
- Aug 16 – Addition of new spider images including Myrmarachne maxillosa, Heteropoda sp huntsman. and Hasselt’s Spider (Gasteracantha hass..tii) by Ian Edwardes.
- Aug 20 – Addition of Salticidae and Spittle bug nymph images from Pang Sida National Park by Paul Thompson.
